Making Your Business' Credit Card Work Smarter

Credit cards are convenient financial means for hundreds of millions of people all over the world. However, personal use is not the only way credit cards come in handy. Credit cards can also be a major benefit for covering business expenses. If you own your own business, you may want to consider applying for a business credit card. Most credit card companies offer a number of options for companies interested in opening a business credit card. The type of business credit card your business applies for may depend on the size, age, income and financial needs of your company.

Business credit cards typically have larger credit limits than personal credit cards. This is because businesses typically have a larger budget than an individual person or family would. Businesses can handle larger credit lines because they can keep up with larger payments. Many credit card companies offer business credit card customers a variety of rewards programs that can help their company appeal to businesses trying to select which of the many credit card companies to do business with. Larger companies may have more leeway than smaller companies in shopping around, doing research and selecting which company has the right program for them.

Most credit card companies are quick to sign on large companies as customers because they know they will be able to keep good credit and most likely be able to stay on as long term, loyal customers. Most credit card companies also offer business customers low interest rates and in some cases a 0 APR credit card. Even though most of the time the 0 APR applies only for an initial period of six months to a year, this can be a huge selling point for any size business.<

Large companies and corporations are not the only businesses that use credit cards though. Small businesses can find it extremely convenient to apply and receive a small business credit card. Small business credit cards are ideal for small businesses that need a way to manage the many finances that a small business can face. For small businesses just starting out, a small business credit card can be a great way of getting the business on its feet. Handling initial expenses with a small business credit card will allow a small business owner to begin business, make a profit, and pay for expenses in monthly payment increments rather than having to foot huge bills all at once during a time where expenses will surely be high.

No matter what the size of your business, a business credit card can be a great choice for you. Business credit cards help companies manage finances, cover expenses and survive in the competitive business world.

Forex the future investment.

There are many many advantages over the various other ways of investing. First of all it is a 24 hr market, except for weekends of course. You have the US market then the european and then the Asian. One of the great times to trade is during the over lapping periods. The USA and European overlap between 5am & 9am eastern and the European & Asian between 11pm & 1am eastern. Usually the busiest time and best to trade.

The is also the risk factor for the accounts. With futures and options you can get margin calls that can wipe you out. If you get caught in a bad trade not only do you lose the money in the account but you may have to come up
with alot more from your pocket. It can be very risking. But not in Forex. Worst case senerio you could lose whats in you account. But you would have to do something really stupid. Like making a big trade on a Fundamental day and leave it alone. If market takes a bad move and you weren't there. OOOPS. But That wouldn't happen with a smarth trader.

Then there are the demo accounts which is an account where you can trade using all the right things, platform, charts, and information. But you are using play money, or what we call paper trading too.

Plus with Forex you have a mini account. Instead of needing thousands of dollars to get into it. You can open an account with as little as $300.00. Now of course you will be trading at 1 tenth of a trade. IN other words you controling 10,000 instead of 100,000.00 These are call lots. Which also means you will only risk 1 tenth too!

So if you would love to learn to do investing and not
have near the risk you really need to take a closer look at
Forex trading.

Lexmark - Relatively new to the market but already on top!

Lexmark does not have the advantage of the proverbial long history in its kitty of printing and imaging solutions like its competitors to bank on; however it has managed to make a mark on the imaging and printing industry. One of its important technologies is the Photo Cartridge and PrecisionSense Technology.

Its Brief Glorious History
Lexmark was established fairly recently in 1991 previously a printing and imaging division of technology giant IBM.

Lexmark went public in 1995 and in such a short span, it can boast of being a fortune 500 company- no small feat! The firm's corporate and research and development offices are located at the company's headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky, United States.

In spite of being new to the industry Lexmark has given the world of printing quite a few advance technologies including 4800 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi) and 3600 x 1200 dpi resolutions, developed the 1200 dpi laser and inkjet printers, also produced standalone photo printers, and offered a sub-$100 inkjet printer.

Lexmark Technology:

The Lexmark Cartridge
The Lexmark cartridges have the print head systems integrated. This makes the maintenance of the printer very easy, and the print quality is enhanced. Therefore, changing a cartridge guarantees a constant print quality- a new print head, is as good as a new printer! It requires less cleaning therefore less waste of ink and ultimately resulting in better print quality.

The Photo Cartridge
This Lexmark cartridge enables six-color printing and gives true to life photo images especially if used with Lexmark's Ink Jet Photo Paper (P/N 1372481) or Lexmark's Ink Jet Glossy Film (P/N 1402795). However, you have to replace the black ink cartridge in order to use this cartridge. One major draw back however is if you select Quick Print while using a photo cartridge, the error shown below will appear.

Conflicting settings!
Description of conflict: you have selected conflicting settings
Cartridge type: photo is not compatible with print quality: quick print

Choose an option to resolve the conflict
1. Print Quality: Better
Cartridge Type: Photo

2. Print Quality: Best
Cartridge type: Photo

3. Continue without resolving conflict
In order to use Quick Print mode, you will need to replace the photo cartridge with a black cartridge.

Lexmark PrecisionSense Technology
Lexmark brings together a series of innovations to ensure intelligent printing and available with Lexmark z55se, Z65, Z65n and Z65p.<

Paper- Type sensor
An optical sensor automatically detects the paper type you put in the paper tray, and then adjust the printer settings. This sensor is able to recognize plain paper, coated paper, glossy or photo paper and transparencies. No more waste of paper and ink due to forgetfulness and you can always expect an optimum result.

Automatic cartridge alignment
Precise regulation of printing depends on a perfect alignment of the cartridges when they are replaced. This means giving regulation values as a reference to printed zones according to precise modes. This operation is automatic in the new Lexmark printers, performed by a highly developed optical system.

Accu-feed
Accu-feed is a Lexmark technology that ensures the print area to stay parallel to the edge of the sheet and virtually remains free from crinkling and jamming. The quality of this device relies on mechanical precision and illustrates Lexmark's tradition of using effective and often original mechanisms in its printers.

Lexmark PrecisionPhoto
Lexmark PrecisionPhoto technology offers extraordinary photo printing quality. Its 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution gives you an amazing and precise print quality, whatever you decide to print. The drop size is a minuscule 3 Pico Liters minimum to produce finer, less grainy images.

Variable drop size
Variable drop size gives smoother half tones, higher print speed and optimization of ink consumption. The color print head has 2 different nozzle sizes: large nozzles having a 10pL ink drop size to rapidly print plain areas and small nozzles having a 3pL ink drop size to print the finest detail in photo quality.

The flexibility to print using only large or small nozzles or a combination of the two makes Lexmark Color print head unique in the inkjet industry. Lexmark PrecisionPhoto technology is available with Lexmark z55se, Z65, Z65n, Z65p

Thermal inkjet technology
Heating a miniscule semi conductor abruptly by means of an electric current is only the first step in thermal printing! The ink is then vaporized instantly on contact, creating an overpressure that ejects the liquid ink placed in front. This small quantity of ink is then projected through a miniscule nozzle that regulates the size of the drop.

Therefore, if you can forego the Quick Print mode then Lexmark's color printers are your best bet because they provide a lot of ease of operation with their intelligent technology and therefore make life easy for you!

Work At Home Mom Summer Survival Guide

Working at home during the summer creates challenges for the WAHM. As the summer begins, there's a lot to keep the kids entertained and give Mom time to work on her business. As the summer progresses, however, choruses of 'Mom I'm bored' ring out, causing otherwise mild mannered Moms to throw up their hands in complete desperation; right before they start planning an escape route.

Moms can't escape for too long however, and kids have an uncanny knack of finding the hiding spot anyway. So what can you do to keep your business in tact during the summer months when the cherubs are effectively running the show?

How flexible are you? No, I don't mean can you play a mean game of Twister while baking a pan of blueberry muffins, but rather, how willing or able are you to adjust your normal work at home day to meet the ever changing demands of tireless children?

Leslie Spencer, founder of Home Based Working Hom, suggests using a laptop with a wireless internet connection. You'll be a mobile mom, able to take your work anywhere your kids go.

Planning and preparation will make your life less stressful. Before summer vacation begins, do some research to find local youth programs being offered and enroll your kids. Make lists of 'things to do' and have ready all of the needed supplies so your school age kids can entertain themselves.

Be realistic. Come to terms with the fact that you may not be as productive during the summer, and schedule your work to make the best use of your time.

Summer challenges for WAHMs do not have to cripple your business. Find local groups and activities for your kids to participate in and remember, time with your kids will pass all too soon, and summer vacation is just one part of WAHM life.

Business Credit Cards Guide

Business credit cards are a helping hand for those entrepreneurs who are running their own businesses. A business credit card not only acts as a line of credit but can also help to provide you enough control in managing your company s finances and cash. When business credit cards were first introduced it was mainly aimed towards corporate executives. However, this trend has changed and nowadays even small business owners can acquire business credit cards fairly easily. Business credit cards have become a versatile tool which allows business owners to utilize effectively over time as their business needs change.

A majority of the business credit cards come with a wide range of features including cash advances, cash rewards, airline miles, one-call emergency service, and insurance coverage. The features included in a business credit card vary from one card provider to the other, but most of the credit card companies offer an attractive introductory rate for the first few months from the date of opening your account. After that initial period the customer will be required to pay a higher ongoing APR and the card also might require an annual membership fee.

One of the major advantages of a business credit card is that it provides a significant increase in financial control. The cards allow you to simplify and manage your business expenses well, eliminating the need to use a personal credit card for business expenses. Another most important feature of a business credit card is that small business owners can make use of these little pieces of plastic to provide financing or emergency "bridge loans" for their business when stuck in cash flow shortages. And even thought it is not explicitly stated in the business card features, business owners have made use of business credit cards for start-up funding as well.

Nowadays, there are myriad small and medium sized companies which make use of business credit cards as an efficient financing tool. There is a wide variety of credit card issuers that offer business credit cards with various schemes and features. Because of the many opportunities available, it is highly recommended to thoroughly contrast and compare business credit cards to select the ideal card best suited to your specific business needs.

Tips for Choosing a Business Credit Card

Before you apply for a credit limit on a business credit, make an estimate of your monthly business expenses and your history of repayment. Make sure that you apply for a credit limit that you know is within the bounds of your expense limitations, but equally important, will also take into account the growing needs of your business.

If you have several employees working under you, you need to determine how many cards your business may need and which employees will require cards for business expenses. Obviously, before you issue cards to any employees make absolutely sure that they are trustworthy.

Also, make sure that during this process that you determine your business requirements for ancillary services. That is, if you or your employee has to travel regularly for business needs, then it is a good idea to find out those business credit card issuers who offer free air miles, travel insurance, and hotel discounts.

Be careful about the introductory interest rates offered by business credit card issuers. Most of these offers are designed to entice new customers and after an initial period of six months to one year, the interest rates will increase substantially. So when comparing business credit cards, one of the most important things to check is the regular interest rate versus the introductory APR and which card compares favorably in that regard.

So if you are planning to start a new business venture, try to utilize the entire suite of benefits that a business credit card offers that can fund, track and reward your business activities.
